CONGRESO INTERNACIONAL: Conocer, dialogar, inventar y transformar con Leibniz

La Sociedad española Leibniz para estudios del Barroco y la Ilustración (SeL) anuncia el Congreso Internacional: “Conocer, dialogar, inventar y transformar con Leibniz”, que tendrá lugar en Donostia/San Sebastián los días 17-21 de junio de 2013.
Este Congreso Internacional pretende explorar precisamente estos cuatro aspectos leibnizianos: conocer, dialogar, inventar y transformar. Conocer es para Leibniz el objetivo y a la vez la felicidad del hombre. Dialogar es el método preferido para llegar a confeccionar una ciencia universal, y acordar con libertad una espiritualidad donde las diferentes religiones puedan tener cabida. Una vez ejercido el Arte de las controversias, inventar es el Arte necesario para obtener nuevos conocimientos. Transformar para progresar es el resultado de toda la actividad anterior. Con estos artefactos se teje una filosofía y una ciencia que necesariamente están en la primera línea de la actualidad o son muy fácilmente aplicables a ella.
En este congreso internacional queremos subrayar esta especial condición de Leibniz y su actualidad, en los cuatro modos compatibles (composibles) de plantearse la acción humana: Conocer, Dialogar, Inventar y Transformar. También se darán a conocer los trabajos más recientes de los editores de los volúmenes del proyecto Leibniz en Español, promovido por la Sociedad española Leibniz para estudios del Barroco y la Ilustración y que se describe en anexo, lo que añadirá sin duda valor al contenido del congreso, que dispondrá de textos en algunos casos desconocidos hasta ahora incluso a nivel internacional.
CALL FOR PAPERS: Establecemos como plazo de envío para título y resumen de 300 palabras hasta el día 4 de abril.

INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS: Knowing, talking with, inventing, and transforming with Leibniz

The Spanish Society Leibniz for Studies of the Baroque and the Illustration (SeL) is pleased to announce an upcoming international congress: “Knowing, talking with, inventing, and transforming”. University of the Basque Country (UPV) in San Sebastián/Donostia, Spain, June 17-21, 2013.
This congress will explore these four Leibniz’s aspects: to know, to talk, to invent and to transform. Knowing is for Leibniz the aim and simultaneously the happiness of the man. Talking is the method preferred to manage to make a universal science, and to remind with freedom a spirituality where the different religions could have content. Once exercised the Art of the controversies, to invent is the necessary Art to obtain new knowledge. To transform to progress is the result of the whole previous activity. With these appliances there is woven a philosophy and a science that necessarily they are in the first line of the current importance or are very easily applicable to her.
In this international congress we want to underline this Leibniz’s special condition and his current importance, in four compatible manners (composibles) of the human action appearing: To know, To talk, To invent and To transform. Also there will be announced the most recent works of the publishers of the volumes of the project Leibniz in Spanish promoted by the Spanish Company Leibniz for studies of the Baroque and the Illustration, which will add undoubtedly value to the content of the congress, which will have texts in some unknown cases till now even worldwide.
CALL FOR PAPERS: We establish as term of sending for title and summary of 300 words until April 4.
